FireStop™ Silicone SL

NSi FireStop™ Silicone SL is a primerless, single component self-levelling silicone sealant. The sealant cures to a durable, flexible silicone rubber when exposed to atmospheric moisture. It is designed for economical use in joint and service penetration firestop configurations and forms a watertight bond with most construction materials. In most cases, no primer is required. FireStop™ Silicone SL is designed to self-level. No tooling is required. It will not crack or crumble as its physical properties remain stable over time. It may be applied over a wide temperature range, 0ºF to 120ºF (-18ºC to 50ºC), allowing it to be applied in any season. It will remain flexible indefinitely between temperatures of -50ºF and 300ºF (-45ºC and 149ºC), May be applied by caulking gun trowel. ASTM E 814 and UL 1479.
